In October 2024, Planet Indonesia hosted the virtual Connect Summit.
This inaugural event was a unique opportunity for funders to connect directly with some of the incredible local partners we collaborate with across Indonesia. Four outstanding organizations presented their frontline work in community conservation spanning from the West to East Indonesia.

JARI works alongside coastal communities in Lombok to ensure sustainable marine resource management and protect critical coastal ecosystems.

Pramasti Ayu Kusdinar

AKAR Global Inisiatif collaborates with local communities in Bengkulu to enhance the management of natural resources, ensuring sustainable livelihoods and long-term environmental stewardship.

Location: Bengkulu Province
Total Beneficiaries: 134,700 people
Number of Villages Supported: 49 villages
Community Groups Supported: 95 groups
Total Managed Area: 59,905 hectares


Juang Advokasi Pengelolaan SDA (Japesda)

Sri Dewi Jayanti Biahimo

Japesda works with local communities in Gorontalo to manage their natural resources sustainably, ensuring the protection of key ecosystems while enhancing local livelihoods.
